Learn To Do Less
There’s more to life than being efficient and productive. Especially when you have kids in the house.
When it comes to business, productivity is the ultimate goal. Getting ahead means learning to get a lot done in a little amount of time. It’s something we all learned our first day on the job.
But there are times in life when getting a lot done means putting more important things off—like spending time with your kids. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is to put your to-do list aside and curl up on the couch with your toddler.
Try to remember that life will always be busy. There will always be chores to do, and people to call, and tasks that need doing. But you won’t always have an opportunity to connect with your kids while they’re young. If doing less means more time with your children, then maybe doing less should be your goal.
