The Key to Sleep

So what’s the secret to a good night’s sleep? Well, getting to bed early is a good start.

We all have restless nights where we struggle to get to sleep, but for some people it’s a regular occurrence. And usually just a few lifestyle changes can make all the difference.

The primary key is to get to bed at a decent hour. That means forcing yourself to turn the screens off and slip under the covers. It’s also not a good idea to have screens in your bedroom. It’s too tempting to flip it on when you find yourself tossing and turning.

Daily exercise is a big help, but not right before bedtime. All that does is key you up and make it harder to get to sleep. Caffeine is another problem to consider, so get to know how you body reacts to it.

Finally, avoid the temptation to sleep in on weekends. Keep your sleeping schedule regular whenever possible.
