An Exceptional Marriage

Having an exceptional marriage isn’t as hard as it might seem.

Here’s a challenge for anyone who is married. Before you go to bed tonight, ask yourself a few critical questions.

Like, what was the first thing you said to your spouse when you woke up this morning? Did you greet them with a kiss? Or just grunt and nod over breakfast?

When you left for work, did you kiss them goodbye? Or just wave as you walked out the door? Did you call during the day just to say hi?

When you got home, how did you greet your spouse at the door? Like you were thrilled or just wondering what was for dinner?

How we act during the day has a huge impact on the state of our marriage. Husbands or wives who take their spouses for granted will never develop the kind of relationship they desire. But little acts of affection and respect can go miles toward building an exceptional marriage.
