Testimonial

Pete and Mandy attended our marriage retreat and had this to say...
"I think people should be encouraged that it's a non threatening weekend. They're not going to make you get up and share with everybody else the hardest thing that is going on in your marriage, or even force you into a conversation with another couple. You could spend the whole weekend just listening and taking in, not having to say anything and not having to interact with another couple beyond "hello" at the dinner table - if you wanted to."

FAQ

What is a Marriage Retreat? Great question. A marriage retreat is an opportunity for you and your spouse to get away from the busyness of life to spend time building your marriage intentionally, so it stands the test of time. Our retreats offer tools and methods to deal with the most significant challenges surrounding married couples. Leave with your marriage being refreshed and renewed for the next chapter of your married life.

But my marriage isn’t in trouble? This is the best time of all to seek assistance to make your marriage be the best it can be. We firmly believe that prevention is the best solution. Getting tools and methods on how to deal with issues as they inevitably arise can make all the difference later on down the road. As much as the retreats are group based there is plenty of time for just you and your spouse to have one on one time together, enjoying each other and the time away.

How can we attend if we can't afford the full cost?
If you would love to come but the price is an issue for you, we are happy to discuss how we can help you with that and what options are available to you given your situation. You can call our office on 1300 300 361 or email response@families.org.au

How can I contribute towards another couple attending a retreat?
We would love as many people as possible to be blessed, refreshed, and marriages renewed by attending our marriage retreat. Unfortunately, for many, their financial situations make that near impossible. So that we can make that possible for a couple who really need that investment, we welcome people to donate any amount to help towards making that a reality. Secure payments can be made here.

Places are limited and filled on a first come-first served basis. As retreats fill up you can be placed on our waiting list.

Both your spouse and yourself, including last names.
