We are very excited to introduce the Family Representative Program to you as a further means to achieve these aims.

Whilst we exist to strengthen families we recognise that families in our churches are also struggling with issues such as depression, suicide, pornography, domestic violence and parenting challenges to name a few. It is our intention to respond to these at a local level.

Our goal is to support designated individuals or couples (Family Representatives) from within your local congregation who will act as a conduit for providing your church with useful information on a variety of family related topics.

Each month Focus on the Family Australia would supply your church (through the Family Representative) with family-help tips along with information about various resources, which can be used in anyway that best suits the needs of your church.  This monthly newsletter is called the Family Moment and a key component of this is the Family Moment Insert that can be used in a number of ways, including monthly distribution with your church notices or pew sheet.  You can download past copies of this insert by going to the Helpful Resources section displayed on this page then going to the Family Moment category.  We hope these are helpful. 

Our desire is to make ourselves available to you to assist in enhancing the health of your congregation and wider community.

Already over 100 churches Australia wide are participating in this initiative. We invite you to be part of it also as we seek to resource and empower our local churches.
