Welcome to our new product range in the
Media Download.
Over the coming weeks we will be uploading our famous children ‘s audio broadcasts -
Adventures in Odyssey.
Across the wide range of broadcasts that comprise the Odyssey collection, great character building broadcasts and stories can be found. You can expect each broadcast to teach Godly principles to your child - such as ... "the importance of friendship".
In addition to the Odyssey broadcasts, the top 100 adult broadcasts spanning subjects as diverse as marriage and parenting, along with topical issues and stories of remarkable characters will be uploaded.
Some time later we will start to populate the DVD product area with some of the Focus on the Family materials. All are intended to help you build and strengthen your family.
Some Technical Information
You purchase downloads from the Focus on the Family Australia Store in the same way that you purchase any other product.
From the time you purchase and pay for your product(s), you have 30 days to complete your download.
Should you have any difficulty during your download (e.g. power blackout, computer time out, etc.), you have two more opportunities to complete the download.
Note: subsequent downloads can only be performed from your computer.
The price of downloads may vary based on the number of sessions packaged in each broadcast. For example, some Odyssey packages contain a series of 12 broadcasts (up to 4 hours of playtime) while others are single broadcasts (approx. 23mins of playtime). Information about each product download is clearly listed.
Clicking on the title of your chosen product will open the product's information page. This lists details about the story line, along with the playback time of the broadcast(s). An indicative time to download is also listed (based on the download speed of your internet connection).
A standard connection for Australian internet users (on broadband) is around 512 Kbps and at this speed
a single 23 minute broadcast (around 40mb) would take up to 10mins to download.
The audio format of downloads is MP3 and is compatible with all MP3 players (e.g. IPOD, iRiver, mobile phones, computers, Windows Media Player, iTunes).
When you purchase
When you place your order, you will see a button at the end of the checkout process that takes you directly to the
My Downloads page (where your downloadable files are listed).
